National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam, NLUJAA, Applications are invited from suitably UGC qualified candidates for the following Regular/ Permanent/ Contractual positions at NLUJAA, post : Professor of Law, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor at Guwahati–Assam.

1. Professor of Law :
No of post : 03 posts
Age Limit : As per UGC Regulations.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : An eminent scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books and/ or research/ policy papers. A minimum of ten years experience in post-graduate teaching, and/ or research at a University/ National level institution, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.

2. Associate Professor of Law :
No of post : 06 posts
Age Limit : As per UGC Regulations.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. A minimum of eight years experience of teaching and/or research.

3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 14 posts in various disciplines.
Age Limit : As per UGC Regulations.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- AGP Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level, in a relevant subject from an Indian University.
