Nagaland Public Service Commission, NPAC, applications are invited for filling up the following vacancies under the Government of Nagaland. post : Assistant Professor, Lecturer

1. Assistant Professor under Higher Education Department :
No of post : 05 Posts (English-2, Geography-1, Commerce-1, History-1)
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 6,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST / SC. and differently-abled candidates. Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC / SLET / SET. Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards & Procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET / SLET / SET.

2. Lecturer under Administrative Training Institute :
No of post : 01 post of Lecturer (Humanities)
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 5700/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University in one of the following subjects with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade (a) Economics (b) Management (c) Public Administration (ii) Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC.
