Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, NSIT, Applications, in the prescribed format, are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to the following faculty positions : Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor in All areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering (COE), Information Technology (IT), Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE), Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering (MPAE), Physics, Maths, Chemistry and English.
1. Professor :
No of post : 29 Posts
Age Limit : Age limit Above 35 years can be considered.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech or equivalent in relevant branch with First Class either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech. and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. student is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 05 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 47 Posts
Age Limit : Age limit is Below 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech or equivalent in relevant branch with First Class either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech. and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Minimum of 05 years teaching / research / industrial experience is highly desirable.
3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 27 Posts
Age Limit : Age limit is Below 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- AGP Rs. 8000/7000/6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/ Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) and Master of Engineering or equivalent in relevant branch with First Class either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
