Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, PGIMER, The PGIMER, Chandigarh invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts on regular basis as an Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors
1. Professors :
No of post : 30 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 and registered with the state/ Central Medical Council. and A postgraduate qualification of an Indian University or an equivalent degree recognized as such by the Medical Council of India. 14 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree i.e. M.D./M.S./DNB/Ph.D.
2. Associate Professors :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 and registered with the state/ Central Medical Council. and A postgraduate qualification in M.Ch. Paed. Surgery of an Indian University or an equivalent degree recognized as such by the Medical Council of India.
3. Assistant Professors :
No of post : 146 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 and registered with the state/ Central Medical Council. and A postgraduate qualification of an Indian University or an equivalent degree recognized as such by the Medical Council of India.
4. Assistant Professors (Non-medical) :
No of post : 146 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification of an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized University.
