Applications are invited for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the following fields:
 
Engineering, Technology and Sciences: Petroleum Engineering, Geological Sciences, Geophysics, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Non-Conventional Energy Sources, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

Business Management: Business Strategy, Managerial Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, Economics, Marketing, Businesses Communications.

Applicants should have a Doctoral Degree with an excellent academic record along with experience in research/development/industry.

Retired /experienced persons in the relevant field are also encouraged to apply for contractual/term assignments on negotiable terms and conditions. Requirements of minimum qualifications may be relaxed for candidates with outstanding academic credentials for contractual appointments.

Professor
Essential Qualification and Experience: PhD degree (or Fellowship for MBA faculty) with first class degrees (or 7 out of 10 GPA) at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Applied Science/Management (or other relevant Management related disciplines) as the case may be, with a minimum of 10 years after-PhD experience in teaching/industry/research, out of which a minimum of 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor and/or equivalent senior level position comparable to that of Associate Professor.
Scale of Pay: PB-4 (37400-67000)

Associate Professor
Essential Qualification and Experience: Same as that of Professor except that the prescribed experience is a minimum of 6 years after PhD in teaching / research/industry out of which at least 3 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and /or equivalent senior level position comparable to that of an Assistant Professor.
Scale of Pay: PB-4 (37400-67000)

Assistant Professor
Essential Qualification and Experience: Same as that of Professor except that the prescribed experience is a minimum of 2 years in teaching / research / industry after Ph.D.
Scale of Pay: PB-3 (15600-39100)
