1. Professor :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-01, SC-01)
Age Limit : As per Rules of Tezpur University.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Arts / Humanities / Sciences / Commerce and M. Ed. with a minimum of 55% marks. At least ten years of teaching experience in University department of education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M. Ed. level with published work (minimum 10 publications) in the area of ones specialization.

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 03 Posts (UR-02, ST-01)
Age Limit : As per Rules of Tezpur University.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Arts / Humanities / Sciences / Commerce and M. Ed. with a minimum of 55% marks. At least 08 years of teaching experience in University department of education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M. Ed. level with published work (minimum 10 publications) in the area of ones specialization.

3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 13 Posts (UR-07, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-03)
Age Limit : As per Rules of Tezpur University.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in the following subject with 55% marks. At least 1 Assistant Professor will be appointed with specialisation in ICT and another with specialisation in Special Education.
