Central University of Kerala, Invites applications for following teaching & administrative posts newly established Central University of Kerala intends to fill up the following teaching and administrative posts on deputaion / lien from Universities / Colleges /  Research Institutions, initially fora period of one year:

 A. TEACHING POSTS:
i. Assistant Professor : 08 posts, Pay band Rs. 15600 to 39100, and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the regular post of Assistant Professor in English / Comparative Literature.
ii. Associate Professor : 04 posts, Pay band Rs. 15600 to 39100, and Grade Pay Rs. 7600,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Associate Professor in  English / Comparative Literature or Asst. Professor(Sr. Grade) with five years of continuous service.
iii. Professor : 02 posts, Pay band Rs. 37400 to 6700, and Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Professor in English /  Comparative Literature or Associate Professor with five years of continuous service.

B. ADMINISTRATIVE POSTS
i. Assistant Registrar : 01 post, Pay band Rs. 15600 to 39100, and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Assistant Registrar or Section Officer having at least Graduation with five years of continuous serice.
ii. Section Officer : 01 post, Pay band Rs. 9300 to 34800, and Grade Pay Rs. 4200 /-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Assistant Registrar or Section Officer having at least Graduation with five years of continuous serice.
iii. Assistant : 01 post, Pay band Rs. 9300 to 34800, and Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Assistant or UDC with five years of continuous service.
iv. Personal Assistant : 01 post, Pay band Rs. 9300 to 34800, and Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Personal Assistants or Stenographer Gr.III with five years of continuous service.
v. Assistant Librarian : 01 post, Pay band Rs. 15600 to 39100, and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Asst. Librarian in a University/ College having UGC qualification or Senior Professional Assistant in a University / College with five years of continuous service.
vi. Junior Professional Asst. : 01 post, Pay band Rs. 15600 to 39100, and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Junior Professional Assistant in a University/ College or as Library Attendant having B.LISc degree with five years of continuous service.
vii. Library Attendant : 02 posts, Pay band Rs. 15600 to 39100, and Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-,
Eligibility : Persons holding the post of Library Attendant in a University/ College on regular basis.

Qualifications: Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or any equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, NET/SLET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor for those with post-graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET / SLET for PG level teaching. A relaxation of 5% marks at the Master’s level for the SC/ST category is provided.

Fees: Rs.300/- (for teaching positions)/Rs.300/- (for teaching positions)/Rs.200/- (for administrative positions) (SC/ST candidates exempted) in the form of DD drawn in favour of Central University of Kerala payable at Kasaragod.
