School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada invites applications for the following positions : Planning Architecture, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Section Officer, Assistant Librarian, Private Secretary, Graphic Designer / Senior Technical Assistant (Publications), Accountant, Personal Assistant

A. RECRUITMENT FOR FACULTY POSITIONS :
1. Planning : As an Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor
No of post : 07 Posts
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/- Professor, PB-4 Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 9,000/- Associate Professor, PB-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39100/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/- Assistant Professor.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Professor :- Ph.D. with minimum 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning discipline. Minimum 10 years experience in teaching / Post Doctoral Research / Professional work with at least 5 years experience of teaching at a University. 2. Associate Professor :- Ph.D. with 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning or in relevant discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching. 3. Assistant Professor :- Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with Ist Class or 60% aggregate marks at any one of the levels in discipline of Planning or in relevant discipline

2. Architecture : As an Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor

Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37,400 to 67,000/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with minimum 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Architecture discipline. Minimum 10 years experience in teaching.

B. RECRUITMENT FOR NON FACULTY POSITIONS :
1. Deputy Registrar :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 42 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39100/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale along with Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.6000 and above with experience in educational administration.

2. Assistant Registrar :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39100/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B’ in the UGC seven point scale with good academic record along with five years of experience as Section Officer or equivalent in the field of Establishment / administration / academics or its equivalent preferably in Government / Semi – Government / autonomous bodies / University or educational Institute of repute.

3. Section Officer :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 45 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s degree from a recognized University with five years of continuous service holding analogous post on regular basis in Universities / Technological Institutions. Possessing 5 years experience in administration/ establishment/ accounts / Finance /purchases and exposure to computer based administrative functioning will be given preference.

4. Assistant Librarian :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 45 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39100/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters Degree in Library Science / Information science / Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade where grading system is followed and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.

5. Private Secretary :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 45 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduation from a recognized university with good academic record. At least 3years of experience as personal assistant in Central / State Govt or any P S U / corporation / Autonomous bodies / Reputed Institutions.

6. Graphic Designer / Senior Technical Assistant (Publications) :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 45 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master Degree in Design or PG Diploma in Design with 2 years experience in publishing industry Adequate working knowledge of publishing platforms like Adobe CS/ Corel / Quark etc.,

7. Accountant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 40 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters Degree in Commerce with good academic record. At least 3 years of experience in the field of Audit/ Accounts/ Finance/ Stores/ Purchase in a Government/Semi Government/ Autonomous bodies/ Institutions of repute/ Recognised University.

8. Personal Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 32 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- per month Academic Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University and Diploma in Stenography & Secretarial Practice from a reputed Institute with a typing speed of 100 / 40 w.p.m. in English shorthand / typing with computer knowledge and having 3 years experience in Secretarial / Clerical work.
