Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, IIST, Invites applications for Requirement of Assistant Professors, Scientist/Engineer SE (System Administrator cum Manager) and Reader On contract basis in the various Departments :
1. Assistant Professor :
In Following Departments : (i) Microwave Components and Circuits (ii) Computer Network, (iii) Protocol (iv) Power Electronics (V) Inertial System and Instrumentation (vi) Image Processing (vii) Pattern Recognition (viii) Computer Vision.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 7600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : BE/ B.Tech. or equivalent in Electronics in First class and ME/M.Tech. in first class and Ph.D. in relevant area w significant research contribution,
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 40 years as on 01.03.2010.
2. Scientist / Engineer ‘SE'(Functional Analysis and Numerical Analysis) :
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 7600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. Mathematics with First Class with a minimum of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in Mathematics OR B.Tech. in Computer Science in First class with a minimum aggregate of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in computer Science. (Those who have submitted Thesis can also apply),
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 45 years as on 01.03.2010.
3. Reader :
In Following Departments : (i) Soft Computing, (ii) Genetic Algorithm, (iii) Machine learning, (iv) Image Processing (v) and Fuzzy Logic,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 40000/- consolidated pay,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. Mathematics with First Class with a minimum of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in Mathematics OR B.Tech. in Computer Science in First class with a minimum aggregate of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in computer Science.
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 35 years as on 01.03.2010.
