Central University of Punjab, CUP, Bathinda will be having the Schools and Departments as given in Table-I. The University invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors in Punjab. Total Vacancies 115 Posts.
1. Professors :
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay : Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : As per UGC regulations on minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in University and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standared in Higher Education 2010 and 2nd Amendments to the regulation issued in June 2013. National Council For Teacher Education regulation 2009.
2. Associate Professors :
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay : Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : As per UGC regulations on minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in University and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standared in Higher Education 2010 and 2nd Amendments to the regulation issued in June 2013. National Council For Teacher Education regulation 2009.
3. Assistant Professors :
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay : Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : As per UGC regulations on minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in University and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standared in Higher Education 2010 and 2nd Amendments to the regulation issued in June 2013. National Council For Teacher Education regulation 2009.
Total Vacancies : 115 Posts for all.
Selection Mode : Stringent criteria will be applied for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview.
