Jawaharlal Institute of Postgradute Medical Education & Research, JIPMER, inviting applications from eligible Officers  for filling up the posts of Professors, Assistant Professors and Non-Medical Teaching/Scientific/Technical Posts at JIPMER, Puducherry, the last date for receipt of the applications complete in all respects is extended till 10th September, 2009 for the following faculty posts in JIPMER: 
 
I. Professor: No of Post: 25 posts, Pay Scale : PB-4: 37400 to 67000 + G.P. 10000/- revised + NPA for Medical candidates only.
II. Assistant Professor : No of Post: 133 posts, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600/- + NPA for Medical candidates only.
III. Non-Medical/ Scientific/ Technical/ Faculty posts : No of Post: 18 posts in various grades.
