Shri Mata Devi University, SMVDU, It is Indian Corporate and Industry Sectors Greatest challenge will be sustaining the employment levels. Indian Companies have shown that given the right environment, SMVDU, Technical University of J&K legislature is a fully residential institution set up on the pattern of IITs. The University has established 10 Academic Schools to impart UG, PG and Ph. D. Level education. Applications are invited for faculty positions at the following level:

A. Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.18400-500-22400/-,  pay bands carry other allowances admissible as per Government of India rules. Qualifications & experience: Ph.D. degree with high CGPA or first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Economics/ English/ Architecture, with a very good academic record throughout. For Architecture Degree, however, M.Arch./ Professor – at least 10 years out of which 5 years must be at the level.
B. Associate Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.16400-450-20000/-,   pay bands carry other allowances admissible as per Government of India rules. Qualifications & experience: Ph.D. degree with high CGPA or first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Economics/ English/ Architecture, with a very good academic record throughout. For Architecture Degree, however, M.Arch./ Associate Professor at least 8 years out of which 5 years must be at the level. B. Arch. candidates can be considered with experience appropriate for the posts.
C. Assistant Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300,  pay bands carry other allowances admissible as per Government of India rules. Qualifications & experience: Ph.D. degree with high CGPA or first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Economics/ English/ Architecture, with a very good academic record throughout. For Architecture Degree, however, M.Arch./ Assistant Professor or equivalent, Lecturer – In Engineering subjects M.Tec. den be considered for appointment.
D. Deputy Registrar : Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300, Qualifications & experience: an ACS/PG (HRM) and Diploma in Labour Laws with 10 years experience, preferably in a similar institution.
E. Assistant Registrar : Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500, Qualifications & experience: an ACS/PG (HRM) and Diploma in Labour Laws with 10 years experience, preferably in a similar institution.
