National Institute of Rural Development, NIRD, (An autonomous Organisation of the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India) Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030, Andra Pradesh.

National Institute of Rural Development, NIRD, is the country’s apex body for undertaking training, teaching, research, action research and consultancy functions in all aspects of rural development. It provides an inter-disciplinary academic environment, backed by an excellent infrastructure including a specialized library and state-of-art research and computer facilities. The Institute broadly follows the UGC pay scales for academic positions. NIRD invites applications in the prescribed format for the following  posts to be filled up on  Direct recruitment basis :

I. Professors :
No of Post : 05 posts (UR-3, SC-1, OBC-1)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400 to 22400/-,
Age Limit : No age limit for the above posts. However, the age of superannuation is 60 years at NIRD.

II. Associate Professors :
No of Post : 10 Posts (UR-5, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-2)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000 to 18300/-,
Age Limit : No age limit for the above posts. However, the age of superannuation is 60 years at NIRD.

III. Assistant Professors :
No of Post : 08 post, OBC-3)
Scale of Pay : Rs.8000 to 13500/-,
Age Limit : No age limit for the above posts. However, the age of superannuation is 60 years at NIRD.
