All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS, Raipur is one of the SIX new AIIMS and apex healthcare institute being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS institutions in underserved areas of the country. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the faculty posts : Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor

1. Professor :
No of post : 20 posts (UR-11, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1)
Age Limit : Should not exceed 58 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. or Equivalent in the Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, ENT, Psychiatry and related allied courses from recognized University in India for non medical candidates. The candidate must be registered with the state/Central Medical/Dental Council of India.

2. Additional Professor :
No of post : 18 posts (UR-11, OBC-4, SC-2, ST-1)
Age Limit : Should not exceed 58 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9500/- (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. or Equivalent in the Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, ENT, Psychiatry and related allied courses from recognized University in India for non medical candidates. The candidate must be registered with the state/Central Medical/Dental Council of India.

3. Associate Professor :
No of post : 29 posts (UR-16, OBC-7, SC-4, ST-2)
Age Limit : Should not exceed 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. or Equivalent in the Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, ENT, Psychiatry and related allied courses from recognized University in India for non medical candidates. The candidate must be registered with the state/Central Medical/Dental Council of India.

4. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 31 posts (UR-17, OBC-8, SC-4, ST-2)
Age Limit : Should not exceed 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month with Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. or Equivalent in the Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, ENT, Psychiatry and related allied courses from recognized University in India for non medical candidates. The candidate must be registered with the state/Central Medical/Dental Council of India.
