1. Professors :
No of post : 27 posts in various disciplines
Age Limit : Minimum 60 years and maximum age of 65 years on the discretion of selection committee as on 1st Jan, 2014.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10500/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject.

2. Additional Professors :
No of post : 32 posts in various disciplines
Age Limit : Minimum 60 years and maximum age of 65 years on the discretion of selection committee as on 1st Jan, 2014.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9500/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Ten years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.

3. Associate Professors :
No of post : 32 posts in various disciplines
Age Limit : Minimum 60 years and maximum age of 65 years on the discretion of selection committee as on 1st Jan, 2014.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Six years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

4. Assistant Professors :
No of post : 50 posts in various disciplines
Age Limit : Minimum 60 years and maximum age of 65 years on the discretion of selection committee as on 1st Jan, 2014.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
