All India Institute of Medical Science, AIIMS, an Autonomous Institute of National Importance is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swastya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).with the aim of correcting regional imbalance in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training. AIIMS Jodhpur invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment on Direct Recruitment / Deputation basis. post : Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor

1. Professor :
No of post : 37 posts
Age Limit : 1. Upper Age Limit is 50 (Fifty years) for Direct Recruitment. 2. 60 Years for Deputation.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Fourteen years teaching and / or research experience in recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

2. Additional Professor :
No of post : 34 posts
Age Limit : 1. Upper Age Limit is 50 (Fifty years) for Direct Recruitment. 2. 60 Years for Deputation.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Ten years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S .or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

3. Associate Professor :
No of post : 50 posts
Age Limit : 1. Upper Age Limit is 50 (Fifty years) for Direct Recruitment. 2. 60 Years for Deputation.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Ten years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S .or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

4. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 50 posts
Age Limit : 1. Upper Age Limit is 50 (Fifty years) for Direct Recruitment. 2. 60 Years for Deputation.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Ten years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S .or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
