Departments / Centres / Institutes. post : Director-Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Director-hysical Education & Sports, Chief of University Security

1. Director-Professor :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP of Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. Degree with A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University / College.

2. Professors :
No of post : 07 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP of Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. Degree with A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University / College.

3. Associate Professors :
No of post : 55 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP of Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. Degree with A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University / College.

4. Assistant Professors :
No of post : 50 Posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (50% for SC /ST / Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s degree level in Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

5. Director, Physical Education & Sports :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP of Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Ph.D. in Physical Education. Experience of at least ten years as University Deputy or fifteen years as University Assistant DPEs / College (selection grade). Participation in at least two national/international seminars / conferences. Consistently good appraisal reports.

6. Chief of University Security :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University. At least 05 years experience as Security Officer / Assistant Security Officer in Central/State/Semi-Government/University OR Big Industrial organization.

7. Assistant Director / Assistant Professor :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years of age on 31.12.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus AGP of Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ Physically & Visually Handicapped) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have either cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR.
