University of North Bengal, UNB, Application are invited from the Indian Citizens for the following positions on Contractual Basis Purely Temporary. Assistant Professor, Research Associate, Research Assistant, Professional Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Library Assistant

1. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 02 Posts Contractual
Scale of Pay : Rs. 32,832/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale at the master’s degree level in Sociology / Anthropology /Women Studies / Gender Studies / Political Science / Law / History / Philosophy / Economics / Geography. At least second class three years bachelors degree with Honours / major in the relevant / allied subjects.

2. Research Associate :
No of post : 02 Posts Contractual
Scale of Pay : Rs. 20,700/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale at the master’s degree level in Sociology / Anthropology /Women Studies / Gender Studies / Political Science / Law / History / Philosophy / Economics / Geography. At least second class three years bachelors degree with Honours / major in the relevant / allied subjects. Ph.D degree in above mentioned subject or in allied or relevant subject.

3. Research Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts Contractual
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,872/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Sociology / Anthropology /Women Studies / Gender Studies / Political Science / Law / History / Philosophy / Economics / Geography. At least a three years bachelors degree in the relevant / allied subjects.

4. Professional Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts Contractual
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,872/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.com knowledge of accountancy. M.A. / M.Sc in Statistics / Computer Application / Information Technology / Operation Research / Geoinformatics / Surverying.

5. Data Entry Operator :
No of post : 01 Post Contractual
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,960/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate. Typing speed of minimum 40 w.p.m. Well conversant in computer working in MS Office. Knowledge of Data Entry in the software packages. Good command over English Language.

6. Library Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post Contractual
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,960/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate. At least one year experience in handling library of any educational institution.
