Employee’s State Insurance Corporation, ESIC, is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Employees? State Insurance Corporation proposes to recruit the teaching faculty positions in 07 ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science & Research located at Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu & Karnataka on direct recruitment basis. The break up of vacancies institution wise / post wise is as under:-
 
Professor :
No of Post : 94 posts, (UR-47, SC-16, ST-07, OBC-24),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. And / or (iii) M.Ch. for surgical super specialities and D.M. for Medical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognised course) or qualification recognised equivalent thereto. Experience: Fourteen years teaching and / or research experience in recognised institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 18400-500-22400/- plus Non Practicing Allowance (for medical candidates only).
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 Years (relaxable up to 5 Years for employees of the Employees State Insurance Corporation and the Govt. Servants).

2. Associate Professors :
No of Post : 94 posts, (UR-47, SC-16, ST-07, OBC-24),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Experience: Six years teaching and / or research experience in recognised institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14300-400-18300/- plus Non Practicing Allowance (for medical candidates only).
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 Years (relaxable up to 5 Years for employees of the Employees State Insurance Corporation and the Govt. Servants).

3. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 94 posts, (UR-47, SC-16, ST-07, OBC-24),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. Experience: Three years teaching and / or research experience in recognised institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 11625-325-15200/- plus Non Practicing Allowance (for medical candidates only).
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 Years (relaxable up to 5 Years for employees of the Employees State Insurance Corporation and the Govt. Servants).
