Mahatma Gandi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, MGAHV, Applications are invited for filling up the following teaching and non-teaching posts.
 
A. Professor : 06 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400 to 22400/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching and/or experience in research in Linguistics/Applied, Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics/ Language Technology at the University/National Level institutions including experience of guiding research at doctoral level. OR An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics/ Language Technology.
B. Reader : 03 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000 to 18300/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the university system, shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter all grades in M.A. Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics/Language Technology. 5 Years of experience of teaching and/or research excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula.
C. Lecturer : 12 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000 to 13500/-, Essential Qualification & Experience: M.A. Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/Computational Linguistics/Language Technology from an Indian University, or, an equivalent degree from a foreign University. “NET/SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of lecturers in Universities / Colleges / Institutions”. Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempt from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in University/Colleges/Institutions.”
D. Regional Director (Reader) : 01 post, Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000 to 18300/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : M.A. Humanities/any branch of Social Science. 5 Years of experience of teaching and/or research excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula.
E. Assistant Registrar : 01 post, Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000 to 13500/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC Seven point scale along with a good academic record.
