Asst. Professor, Associate Professor and Professor:

Pay Scale :
A. Assistant Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.12000-420-18300, Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years teaching / research / forestry / industrial experience.
B. Associate Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.16400-450-20000, Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years’ teaching/research/forestry/industria experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
C. Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.18400-500-22400, Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years’ teaching/research/forestry/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.
