Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College & Research Institute, PKMCRI, Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the MCI regulations of minimum qualification for teachers in Medical Institutions :
 
A. Professors (Medical / Non Medical) :
No of Post : 12 posts (OBC-2, SC-2, ST-1, UR-7),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 43000 + Rs. 10000 (PB – 4, Rs. 37400 Rs. 67000) Total Emoluments per month Rs. 116920/-,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 60 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act) with M.S / M.D. (OR) M.Sc with Ph.D. both in the faculty of Medicine * Experience: (i) As Reader / Associate Professor in concerned speciality for three years in a recognized medical college (ii) Minimum of four Research Publications Indexed / National journals.
B. Associate Professors (Medical / Non Medical) :
No of Post : 22 posts (OBC-5, SC-2, ST-2, UR-13), Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 + Rs. 8700 (PB – 4, Rs. 37400 Rs. 67000) Total Emoluments per month Rs. 104241/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act) with M.S / M.D. (OR) M.Sc with Ph.D. both in the faculty of Medicine * Experience: (i) As Reader / Associate Professor in concerned speciality for three years in a recognized medical college (ii) Minimum of four Research Publications Indexed / National journals.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 58 years.
C. Assistant Professors (Medical / Non Medical) :
No of Post : 31 posts (OBC-7, SC-4, ST-2, UR-18),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 21630 + Rs. 6600 (PB – 3, Rs. 15600 Rs. 39100) Total Emoluments per month Rs. 71406/-,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 50 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act) with M.S./M.D. (OR) M.Sc with Ph.D. both in the faculty of Medicine * (ii) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor.
