North Eastern Hill University, NEHU, was set up by an Act of Parliament and notified on 19th July 1973. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the act, are “to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement”. post : Finance Officer & System Analyst

1. Finance Officer :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum age limit will be counted as on 20.11.2013
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade B in the UGC seven point scale. At least 15 years experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor or eight years experience as Reader/in the AGP of eight thousand and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in Financial Administration.

2. System Analyst :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum age limit will be counted as on 20.11.2013
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : BE/B.Tech (CSE/IT) from recognized University / Institution OR MCA with at least one year experience in System Administration from recognized University / Institution.
