Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC, “Provided that, first preference shall be given to the candidates possessing B.F.Sc degree and only if sufficient number of such candidates are not available, candidates possessing other qualifications shall be considered”. Applications are invited upto 5.45 p.m on 31-03-2009 for direct recruitment to the vacancies for the following posts.
A. Inspectorof Fisheries : AGE (as on 01.07.2009): 18-30 years. 06 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.6500-11100/-,
B. Research Assistant : AGE (as on 01.07.2009): Should be 18-30 years. 05 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.6500-11100/-.
Qualification:
(i) A Degree in Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) or Its equivalent degree of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grants. OR
(ii) The Associate Diploma in Fisheries Science of the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Bombay. OR
(iii) M.Sc., Degree with Zoology (or) M.Sc., Degree with Marine Biology as Main subject.

Candidates applying Online should send the applications (i.e. The printout generated from the web site and signed by the candidates) with the Postal Receipt along with attested copies of Certificates so as to reach the Commission’s office on or before the last date for receipt of applications, failing which his/her application will be rejected. The facility of applying Online will be closed on 31-03-2009 at 5.45.p.m.
