Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, PSC, Applications are invited from the citizens of India for the post’s in different Departments of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates are required to visit http://www.hp.gov.in/hppsc/ and download the Application Format.
 
i. Principal (College cadre Class-I) : No of Post : 02 posts,
ii. Lecturers (College Cadre Class-I) : No of Post : 164 posts,
iii. Assistant Director Fisheries (Class-II) : No of Post : 01 post,
iv. Assistant Director Factories (Chemical) Class-I,Gazetted : No of Post : 02 posts,
v. Lecturer Computer Engineering Class-I, Gazetted : No of Post : 02 posts,
vi. Assistant Research Officer, Class-II Non-Gazetted : No of Post : 01 post,
vii. Assistant Public Relations Officer, Class-II (Non-Gazetted) : No of Post : 04 posts on contract basis.
viii. Assistant Professor (Medical) : No of Post : 04 posts (Operative Dentistry-1, Medicine and Radiology-1, Community Dentistry-1, Orthopaedics-1),
ix. Medical Officer (Dental) Class-I Gazetted : No of Post : 01 post on contract basis.
x. Drug Inspector Class-II Gazetted : No of Post : 01 post,
xi. Secretary Calss-I Gazetted Grade-A : No of Post : 01 post on contract basis.

Essential Qualification :
(i) A good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed in Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from Foreign University recognized by the Govt. of India.
(ii) For the Lecturer in Fine Arts also i.e Commercial Arts , Drawing and Painting and Sculpture , Master’s Degree in Fine Arts having good academic record with 55% marks or equivalent of 55% wherever grading system is followed.
(iii) A relaxation of 5% is provided from 55% to 50% marks , at the Master’s Degree for the SC/ST categories and persons with disabilities,
(iv) A relaxation of 5% is provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders, who have passed their Master ’s Degree prior to September, 1991.
(v) The eligibility of the candidates in terms of essential qualifications, experience etc. shall be reckoned as on the last normal date of receipt of applications i.e. 12-04-2010.
(vi) The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to interview or selection will be final and no correspondence / personal enquiries will be entertained. Onus of proving that the candidate is qualified shall be on the candidate. In case no date of notification/declaration of final result is mentioned in any certificate the date of issue of certificate shall be deemed date of obtaining essential qualifications.
Age Limit : Below 45 years of age as on 01.01.2010 needed however five years relaxation in upper age for SC / ST / OBC/ WFF / Persons with disabilities of Himachal Pradesh. For H.P. Govt. employees and Ex-servicemen of H.P. relaxation is as per Government instructions.

Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002”, Far flange areas is 27-04-2010 by 5.00P.M.

Fees : Bank draft in favour of Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission for Rs. 250/- only, (Rs. 63/- for SC/ST/OBC of H.P.only), payable at Shimla to the Secretary, HPPSC, Nigam Vihar, Shimla – 171002.

Last Date of Application Submission : 12-04-2010 Far flange areas is 27-04-2010 by 5.00P.M.
