The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is an autonomous organisation, functions under Deptt. of School Education and Literacy, MHRD, Govt of India, committed for school education through open and distance learning mode. NIOS proposes to fill up the following posts on Direct recruitment/Deputation basis as per Govt. of India rules.

3. Director (Vocational Education) : No of Post : 01 post (Unreserved-1), Pay Scale Rs. 37400-67000+ G.P 8700/-, Age Limit : Preferably below 52 yrs.
4. Deputy Director (Academic) : No of Post : 02 posts (OBC-1, Unreserved-1), Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P 7600/-, Age Limit : Preferably below 47 yrs.
5. Deputy Director (Adminstration) : No of Post : 01 post (Unreserved-1), Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P 7600/-, Age Limit : Preferably below 47 yrs.
6. Deputy Director (Accounts) : No of Post : 01 post (Unreserved-1) on Deputation, Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P 7600/-, Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 yrs.

11. Section Officer : No of Post : 09 posts, (SC-1, ST-1, Unreserved-5, OBC-2, (including PH-1), Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P 4200/-, Age Limit : Below 45 yrs.
12. Assistant Audit Officer : No of Post : 01 post (Unreserved-1) on Deputation, Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P 4200/-, Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 yrs.
13. Technical Assistant (Publication) : No of Post : 02 posts (OBC-1, Unreserved-1), Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P 4200/-, Age Limit : Below 45 yrs.

14. Stenographer : No of Post : 03 posts (OBC-2, Unreserved-1), Pay Scale Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P 2400/-, Age Limit : Below 37 yrs.
15. Junior Assistant : No of Post : 34 posts (SC-2, ST-2, OBC-9, Unreserved-21), Pay Scale Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P 1900/-, Age Limit : Below 37 yrs.

Application Form can be obtained from NIOS website http://www.nios.ac.in giving complete details. The form duly filled, signed, attached with demand draft and attested copies of certificates may be sent with superscribing the post applied for on the envelope, to the Secretary, National Institute of Open Schooling, A-24/25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Noida – 201309, U.P. No applications will be accepted through e-mail. The last date for receiving applications is 01.02.2010 (In case of candidates from North Eastern States/Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti Dists. of Himachal Pradesh, Andman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of applications will be 08.02.2010).

Fees : Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) for Unreserved category and Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for SC/ST and OBC categories in favour of Secretary, National Institute of Open Schooling, Noida.

Last Date of Application Submission : 01.02.2010 For flange area 08.02.2010.
