Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, invites application on prescribed forms for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments.

1. Deputy Director (Mechanical) :
No of post : 04 posts in Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute or equivalent; Five years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a technical Organization / Industrial concern in production of light engineering stores.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 31.03.2011.

2. Assistant Director (Grade-I) (Electronics) :
No of post : 04 posts in  Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. Three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a technical or industrial concern in the development and production of electronic components, equipment and instruments.
Desirable : Should have knowledge in the latest techniques of production and use of modern machinery and equipment as applied to electronic industry.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 31.03.2011.

3. Deputy Director (Export Promotion) :
No of post : 03 posts in Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Economics or Commerce with specialization in Business Administration / Export Promotion from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. Five years’ experience in a managerial capacity in Government / Industrial / Business concern in the field of Export Promotion.
Desirable : (i) Institutional training in foreign trade. (ii) Administrative experience.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 31.03.2011.

4. Junior Scientific Officer :
No of post : 04 posts in Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Physics with Electronics as a subject or degree in Telecommunication Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. Two years’
experience in Manufacture / Inspection / Development / Maintenance of Electrical / or Electronics Instruments.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade pay Rs. 4800/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 31.03.2011.
