Sashastra Seema Bal, SSB, Applications are invited from male Indian Citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for filling the vacancies of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the “SASHATRA SEEMA BAL”,
 
Head Constable (Ministerial) Male :
No of Post : 218 posts (UR-116, SC-31, ST-20, OBC-51),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/-,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years, There will be relaxation in age up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Essential Qualification & Experience :
1. Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board/ Institute.
2. Typing speed 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

PHYSICAL STANDARD:-
HEIGHT : 167.5Cms, Relaxation for the candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorakhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal
Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Leh & ladakh regions of J&K will be 165 Cms. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 162.5 Cms.
CHEST : Un-Expanded 80 Cms/78 Cms/76/Cms.
CHEST : Expanded 85 Cms/83 Cms/81/Cms.
WEIGHT : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standared.

MEDICAL STANDARD:-
EYE SIGHT (With or Without glasses) :
BETTER VISION : 6/6 or 6/9
WORSE EYE : 6/12 or 6/9

NEAR VISION:-
BATTER EYE : J.I
WORSE EYE : J.II
