Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is a leading “Navratna” Public Sector Enterprise engaged in Refining, Distribution and Marketing of Petroleum Products. To fill in the following entry level positions in Management Cadre at various places in the country, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited invites application for the position of Officer Trainees and welcomes young & dynamic Engineers and MBAs to join HPCL team of world class professionals:
Officer Trainee Engineering Disciplines : : 250 posts (Civil-35, Chemical Engineering – 61, Electrical Engineering – 34, Instrumentation Engineering – 20, Mechanical engineering – 10, Human Resources – 10), Qualification : Four year full time Degree in Engineering / Technology in Civil, Mechanical ,Instrumentation, Chemical or Electrical Discipline (Full Time Course) from recognized Indian University / Institute.

Officer Trainees – Human Resources : 10 posts, Qualification : Two year full time, Post graduate course with specialization in HR / Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations from recognized Indian University / Institute

Age (as on 19/01/2008) : 25 years for Graduate/ 27 years for post Gradaute, For HR – 27 years. Relaxation in age as per GoI orders.
Selection Process: Candidates fulfilling all of the above criteria will be eligible for appearing for Written Test (objective type consisting of two parts – General Aptitude and Academic Knowledge). The candidates will be called for the Personal Interview in order of their merit in the Written Test
Fee : General and OBC candidates are required to send a NON-REFUNDABLE crossed Demand Draft for Rs.500/- as Application Fee drawn on “HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED” payable at Mumbai. Candidates must write their name, discipline and application no. on the reverse of Demand Draft.
