Indian Institute of Technology, IIT,  invites applications from Indian Nationals with an established record of independent, We are recruiting faculty in engineering, sciences and humanities who are interested in research, high quality research and commitment to teaching and research for faculty positions in following disciplines, Candidates may apply for contract appointments of up to 5 years :

In following disciplines :
i. School of Computing & Electrical Engineering,
ii. School of Engineering,
iii. School of Humanities & Social Sciences,
iv. School of Basic Sciences.

I. Professor :
Scale of pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record throughout. A minimum of 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs.
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.

II. Associate Professor :
Scale of pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 9500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record throughout. A minimum of 6 years Teaching/Industry/Research experience, of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer).
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.

III. Assistant Professor :
Scale of pay : PB-3 Rs. 16500 to 39100 AGP Rs. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : At least 3 years relevant industrial/research/teaching experience, excluding however, the experience gained while pursing Ph.D.
Age Limit : Candidates preferably should be below 35 years of age.

IV. Assistant Professor (on contract) :
Scale of pay : PB-3 Rs. 16500 to 39100 AGP Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : At least 3 years relevant industrial/research/teaching experience, excluding however, the experience gained while pursing Ph.D.
Age Limit : Candidates preferably should be below 35 years of age.
