The Indian Navy, Applications are invited from unmarried male candidates for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Technical Branches (Engineering and Electrical) of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Jan 2010 at NAVAC Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates to fulfil condition of nationality as laid down by the Government of India. unmarried Male Indian Citizens to join the prestigious Naval Academy at Azhimala, Kerala under 10+2 (Technical) Cadet Entry Scheme.

Technical Branches :
a. Engineering Branch :
(i) Mechanical, (ii) Production, (iii) Aeronautical, (iv) Marine, (v) Control.
b. Electrical Branch  Branch :
(i) Electrical, (ii) Electronics, (iii) Telecommunications, (iv) Avionics,
(v) Instrumentation & Control.
Eligibility Conditions :
Age Limit : Between 19 ½ to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1991 to 01 July 1993 both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 55% marks in english either in class X or class XII.
Physical Standards :
Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male – 157 cms, with correlated weight. Eye Sight – The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
