Giri Institute of Development Studies, GIDS, Applications are invited for the following positions on a purely temporary basis in the project on “Job Search and Hiring Practices in Urban Labour Markets in India”. The project is sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi for a period of two years at the Institute. It involves intensive field survey based research in urban areas: post : Consultant, Research Associate/Research Fellow, Research Assistant

1. Consultant :
No of post : 01 Post
Scale of Pay : Consolidated salary up-to Rs. 40,000/- per month depending on educational qualification and experience.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in Social Science with 2 years of research experience. Those who have submitted their Ph.D. for the award of degree and have at least two years research experience are also eligible to apply.

2. Research Associate/Research Fellow :
No of post : 01 Post
Scale of Pay : Ranges between Rs. 15,000/- to 18,000/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate/M. Phil in Social Science with good academic record and Two years research experience in a reputed organization.

3. Research Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10,000/- to 12,000/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Social Science with good academic record, Preference will be given to those who have one year research experience in urban areas.
