Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd, BVFCL, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following posts:
 
1. General Manager-Unit: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: BE /BTech in Chemical Engineering. Must have 20 years of relevant experience in a PSU/ organisation of repute, out of which 6 years in Senior managerial level having experience in all aspects of plant operation, maintenance and general management. Scale of Pay: Rs. 20500- 26500/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 46,100/- (Approx), Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 55 years as on 01.07.2009.
2. Dupty General Manager finance: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: C.A. or I.C.W.A. Must have 12-15 years post qualification experience in a PSU/organisation of repute, out of which 4 years in Sr. Managerial position. Familiarity with computerized system and related areas of Financial Management essential. Scale of Pay: Rs. 18500-23900/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 41,650/-(Approx), Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 55 years as on 01.07.2009.
3. Chief Manager HR: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: MBA/ PGDM in Personnel Mgmt & IR/HR or equivalent. Degree in Law will be an added advantage. Must have 14 years of experience in executive position in Personnel department of a PSU / organisation of repute. Scale of Pay: Rs. 17500-22300/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 39,400/-, Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 52 years as on 01.07.2009.
4. Chief Personnel Officer/ Sr. Personnel Officer: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: MBA/ PGDM in Personnel Mgmt & IR/HR or equivalent. Degree in Law will be an added advantage. Must have 10/8 years of experience in executive position in Personnel department of a PSU / organisation of repute. Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500- 18700/-13000-18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48 years as on 01.07.2009.
5. Dupty Finance Manager/ Assistant Finance Manager: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: CA or I.C.W.A. with 10/ 8 years of experience in Finance department of a PSU / organisation of repute. Familiarity with computerized system and related areas of Financial Management essential. Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500- 18700/-13000-18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48 years as on 01.07.2009.
6. Chief Administrative Officer/ Sr. Admn. Officer: 02 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: Post graduate in any discipline preferably MBA/ Public Administration. LLB degree desirable. Must have 10 /8years of experience in the field of Administration, Estate & Land and legal matters in a PSU / organisation of repute. Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500- 18700/-13000-18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48 years as on 01.07.2009.
7. Dupty Chief Engineer/ Plant Manager/ Assistant Plant Manager -Production: 10 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: BE /BTech in Chemical Engineering. Must have 10/ 8 /5 years of relevant experience preferably in a Chemical/ Fertilizer Industry, Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500-18700/-13000-18250/-10750-16750/-Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/-or Rs 24,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48/45 years as on 01.07.2009.
8. Dupty Chief Engineer/ Plant Manager/ Assistant Plant Manager -Electrica: 03 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: BE /BTech in Chemical Engineering. Must have 10/ 8 /5 years of relevant experience preferably in a Chemical/ Fertilizer Industry, Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500-18700/-13000-18250/-10750-16750/-Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/-or Rs 24,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48/45 years as on 01.07.2009.
9. Dupty Chief Engineer/ Plant Manager/ Assistant Plant Manager -Instrumentationn: 03 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: BE /BTech in Chemical Engineering. Must have 10/ 8 /5 years of relevant experience preferably in a Chemical/ Fertilizer Industry, Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500-18700/-13000-18250/-10750-16750/-Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/-or Rs 24,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48/45 years as on 01.07.2009.
10. Dupty Chief Engineer/ Plant Manager/ Assistant Plant Manager -Mechanical: 04 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: BE /BTech in Chemical Engineering. Must have 10/ 8 /5 years of relevant experience preferably in a Chemical/ Fertilizer Industry, Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500-18700/-13000-18250/-10750-16750/-Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/-or Rs 24,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48/45 years as on 01.07.2009.
11. Dupty Manager -Legal/ Sr. Law Officer: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in Law. Must have 10/ 8 years of experience in handling Legal matters of a PSU/ organisation of repute. Should have the capacity of handling legal cases independently pertaining to factory/labour organisation. Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500- 18700/-13000-18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/- (Approx). Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 50/48 years as on 01.07.2009.
12. Dupty Chief Vigilance Officer/ Sr. Vigilance Officer: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: MBA/PG degree in any discipline. LLB degree desirable. Must have 10/ 8 of experience in Vigilance department in a PSU/ organisation of repute. Scale of Pay: Rs. 14500- 18700/-13000-18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 32,750/- or Rs 29,400/- (Approx). 13. Sr. Public Relation Officer/ Public Relation Officer: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: PG degree in Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Public relation Or MA in English / vernacular with Diploma in Journalism. (minimum 1 year duration). Must have 8/5 years of relevant experience in PR department of PSU/ organisation of repute. Scale of Pay: Rs. 13000 -18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 29,400/-, Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 48/45 years as on 01.07.2009.
14. Area Manager -Marketing: 04 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: MSc(Agri)/ BSc (Agri) MBA in Marketing desirable. Must have 8/10 years experience in Marketing discipline seeds & pesticides marketing. Scale of Pay: Rs. 13000 -18250/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 29,400/-, Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 48 years as on 01.07.2009.
15. Hindi Officer: 01 post, Essential Qualification & Experience: MA in Hindi and should have English as core subject at degree level. Must have Minimum 3 years experience of terminological work/ translation work/ teaching / research/ journalism in Hindi. The candidate should have thorough knowledge of Official Language Act. Scale of Pay: Rs. 6550-11350/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 15,000/-, Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 35 years as on 01.07.2009.
16. Private Secretary: 04 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience: Post graduate/ Graduate with Diploma in Secretarial practice, shorthand & computer knowledge. Must have Minimum 3 or 5 years
experience in Secretarial jobs in a PSU/ organisation of repute. Scale of Pay: Rs. 6550-11350/- Minimum Gross emolument Rs 15,000/-, Age Limit: A Candidate should note execeed 35 years as on 01.07.2009.
