The Indian School of Mines University, established in 1926, which offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental, Mechanical, Mineral, Mining, Mining Machinery Engg and Petroleum Engineering, and M.Tech, MSc, MSc Tech, MPhil, MBA and Ph.D programs in the areas of Engineering, Basic & Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions:

Asstt. Workshop Superintendent– Payscale 8,000-275-13,500-
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engg with 5 years / 8 years experience respectively in reputed Workshop/Industry/ Defence/Border Roads

Assistant Registrar–2 Nos (one for OBC)- Payscale 8,000-275-13,500-
Qualification: Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

Horticulturist – Payscale 5,500-175-9,000
Qualification: (1) BSc(Agriculture) with 60% marks and Horticulture as specialisation; (2) 5 years experience of working as Horticulturist.
Qualification:

Hindi Translator– Payscale 4,500-125-7,000
Qualification:MA (Hindi) with 60% marks; 5 years experience in translating English documents into Hindi & vice versa

Prescribed application forms may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar(Estt), ISM University, Dhanbad-826004 by sending a crossed demand draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines University, along with a self-addresed stamped (Rs.30/-) envelope of 30cmX12cm size. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying any application fee and provision for reservation of SC/ST/PH/OBC will be applicable as per Government of India Rules. Candidates called for the interview will be paid sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route as per rules. Application form may also be downloaded from the institute’s website www.ismdhanbad.ac.in and submitted with necessary fees to the Deputy Registrar(Estt), ISM University, Dhanbad 826004. Applications for all positions will be received upto 31 March 2008.
