It has two operating units, one at Trombay in Mumbai and the other at Thal, Alibag, Raigad district, about 100 KM’s from Mumbai.

Operator Trainee
No of post: 50 posts
Age Limit: Upper Age Limit as on 01.06.2018: Age Limit will be maximum 27 years (relaxed by 05 years for SC/ST Category candidates and 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Category candidates.
Scale of Pay: Selected candidates will be undergoing training for ONE year and will be paid consolidated stipend of Rs. 9000/- p.m. Operator Trainees will be absorbed in ‘A6 Grade’ with corresponding designation as ‘Operator Gr-II’ in the scale of Pay of Rs. 9300-21500/- (Pre-revised) after successful completion of one-year training period and performance assessment thereafter.
Qualifications:Full time & regular B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree with Physics as one of the subjects during any of the 3 years course of B.Sc. Degree and NCVT in the AO (CP) trade. The candidates should have secured minimum 50% marks in last year (or Average/Aggregate of last two semesters) of B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree Course (45% for SC/ST category candidates). The NCVT in AO(CP) Trade is necessarily be completed after passing of B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree. OR Full time & regular Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology with 50% marks in last year (or Average/Aggregate of last two semesters) of the Diploma Course (45% for SC/ST category candidates) having completed one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR 04 years’ full time & regular Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology with 50% marks in last year (or Average/Aggregate of last two semesters) of the Diploma Course (45% for SC/ST category candidates) under Sandwich Pattern (04 year course including one year industrial training).
