Steel Authority of India Limited, SAIL, a Navratna Company, is India’s largest steel producer with an annual turnover of around Rs. 50,000 crore. It operates and owns five integrated steel plants at Rourkela, Bhilai, Durgapur, Bokaro and Burnpur and three special steel plants at Salem, Durgapur and Bhadravati. As part of its global ambition. Applications are invited from young, energetic and result oriented persons for around 300 posts of Management Trainees (Technical).

Management Trainees- Technical:

Scale of Pay: pay scale of E-1 grade w.e.f. their date of joining in the Company (Rs. 10750 – 4% – 16750. successful candidates will be offered a consolidated pay of Rs.23,000/- p.m. and other benefits as per Company’s rules.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – i) Mechanical ii) Electrical iii) Metallurgy iv) Chemical v) Electronics & Telecommunications vi) Instrumentation vii) Civil viii) Ceramics and ix) Computer Science from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 65% marks.
Age Limit: Age Born not earlier than June 1, 1979 (Upper age limit of 30 years is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates).

SELECTION MODE:
1. Written Test objective type
2. Group Discussion and Interview.
3. SC/ST/OBC candidates will be given relaxation in prescribed qualifying level for written test, group discussion and interview.

Fees: Pay in Slip for Rs.500/- as examination fee for General and OBC Candidates (Rs.150/- as processing fee for SC/ST& PH candidates). SC/ST & PH candidates are required to submit a self-attested copy of Caste/Disability certificate alongwith Pay in Slip.
