Jharkhand Public Service Commission, JPSC, Last date 30.08.2010 Extended date is 01.10.2010. Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for following posts in Government Engineering Colleges in Jharkhand :
 
1. Principal :
In Engineering & Technology Disciplines.
No of Post : 03 posts,
Age Limit : Should not more than 62 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D degree (with first class degree at Bachelors or Master’s level). In addition the candidate should be an eminent person in the field with 15 (fifteen) years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Professor or above.

2. Professor :
In Engineering & Technology Disciplines.
No of Post : 27 posts,
Age Limit : Should not more than 62 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D degree with First Class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with 10 year’s experience in Teaching/Industry/Research.

3. Assistant Professor :
In Engineering & Technology Disciplines.
No of Post : 54 posts,
Age Limit : Should not more than 62 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D degree with the First Class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology with 3 years experience in Teaching/Industry/ Research at the level of lecturer or equivalent.

4. Lecturer:
In Engineering & Technology Disciplines.
No of Post : 150 posts,
Age Limit : Should not more than 62 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Bachlor’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology OR First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.)/Technology (Tech.) (No minimum experience required).
