Electricity Service Commission UP Power Corporation Ltd, UPPCL, Online applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the following posts of Junior Engineer (Trainee) in various distribution companies viz, Madhyancha / Poorvanchal / Pashchimanchal / Dakshinanchal / Kesco and Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. under Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd.

A. Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electrical :
No of post : 497 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics/Information Technology/Civil Engineering from an University OR from an Institute established under the law of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of Hindi Devnagri script. Must have one year computer course.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 01.01.2011. Relaxation in age as per rules.

B. Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electronic/ Tele Communication :
No of post : 26 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics/Tele Communication/ Information Technology/Civil Engineering from an University OR from an Institute established under the law of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of Hindi Devnagri script. Must have one year computer course.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 01.01.2011. Relaxation in age as per rules.

C. Junior Engineer (Trainee) :
No of post : 04 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics/Tele Communication/Information Technology/Civil Engineering from an University OR from an Institute established under the law of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of Hindi Devnagri script. Must have one year computer course.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 01.01.2011. Relaxation in age as per rules.

Selection Mode : Selection by Written test and and Interview for selected candidates.

Fees : Rs. 800/- (Rs. 500/- for  SC/ST (domicile of U.P.) payable through a crossed demand draft of SBI in favour of Secretary, Electricity Service Commission, Lucknow payable at Lucknow.
