SJVN LIMITED, A Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking after successful commissioning of the country’s largest 1500MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh is emerging as a multi-unit 4500 MW company with Hydro Power Projects of 412 MW Rampur, 775 MW Luhri , 1020 MW Khab on river Satluj, 40 MW Dhaulasidh on river Beas in HP, 353 MW in Uttrakhand, 1386MW in Bhutan and 402 MW Arun-III in Nepal.
 
Discipline:
Civil – 45 post – Full Time Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Electrical  – 36 post -  Full Time Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Mechanical  – 09 post -  Full Time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Architecture  – 0 post – 1 Three Years Full Time Diploma in Architecture.
Human Resources -  04 post -  Graduate with one year Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Social Works / Labour Welfare / Business Management / Office Management / Public Administration.
Finance & Accounts -  04 post -  Inter-CA or Inter-ICWA (Simple Pass) or full time M.Com.
Official Language -  03 post -  Full Time Degree (English & Hindi as main subjects) and M.A. (Hindi) and one year Diploma/Certificate in Hindi Translation.

Scale of Pay: The selected candidates will be paid consolidated Stipend consisting of Basic Pay of Rs. 7300/- plus Dearness Allowance (on Basic Pay + Dearness Pay) as applicable in first quarter of the year, 2010 per month during the training period of one year. On successful completion of training, they will be placed at S1 level in the Pay Scale of Rs. 7300-3.5%-12660/- (Due for upward revision from 01/01/2007).
Age Limit: 30 years as on closing date.

2. Applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of testimonials and Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (SC/ST and PH exempted) drawn in favour of SJVN Limited payable at Shimla, should be sent only by ordinary post to the Senior Manager (P&A), Recruitment Cell, SJVN Limited, Himfed Building, New Shimla – 171 009 (HP). The ‘Advt. No.’ ‘Category’ and the ‘Post Applied For’ should be mentioned on the envelope so as to reach on or before the closing date.
3. Candidate should clearly note that the SJVN will in no case be responsible for rejection of applications due to incomplete application, non-receipt of application or delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever. No application received after the prescribed last date will be entertained under any circumstances and all the late applications will be summarily rejected.

They should therefore, ensure that their applications reach SJVN office on or before the prescribed last date.
