Cochin Port Trust, CPT, Applications are invited from qualified candidates for appointment to the following Regular posts in Mechanical Engineering Department, Cochin Port Trust, post : Junior Engineer, Switch Board Attender, Electrician

1. Junior Engineer :
No of post : 01 Post (01 – SC)
Age Limit : Minimum 20 years and Maximum 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12100 to 30800 Govt. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Gross Salary Rs. 25608/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Electrical Engineering or its Equivalent qualification recognized by the Govt. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Govt. with 3 years post qualification experience.  in the Level of Supervisory capacity in a State / Central Govt. Organizations.
Desirable: (i) 1year Apprenticeship / training in Central Govt. Organization for the Graduates. (ii) GATE qualified certificate.

2. Switch Board Attender (Class-III) :
No of post : 02 Posts (01–SC, 01-ST)
Age Limit : Minimum 20 years and Maximum 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9400 to 22000 Govt. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Gross Salary Rs. 20045/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : ITI / ITC or its equivalent certificate with two years experience in respective trade. Electrician trade with 2 years experience in Switch Board duties in a reputed Establishment.
Desirable : Experience in Govt. Organizations.

3. Electrician (Class-III) :
No of post : 02 Posts (01–SC, 01-ST)
Age Limit : Minimum 20 years and Maximum 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9400 to 22000 Govt. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Gross Salary Rs. 20045/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : ITI / ITC or its equivalent certificate with two years experience in respective trade. Electrician trade with 2 years experience in Switch Board duties in a reputed Establishment.
Desirable : Experience in Govt. Organizations.
