Cosmic Ray Laboratory, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, TIFR, Applications are invited for the following posts tenable at Cosmic Ray Laboratory, Ooty, post : Laboratory Assistant
Laboratory Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts (Reserved for Other Backward Class)
Age Limit : Below 31 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) S.S.C. or equivalent. (ii) Two years ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electronics or Electrical with minimum 60% marks OR Two years ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electronics or Electrical with minimum 60% marks and NCTVT National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade of Electronics or Electrical. Minimum 2 years experience in the case of two years ITI and minimum one year experience in the case of two years ITI and NCTVT after passing of trade course in wiring of electronic circuits, checking and testing of electronic circuits etc.
Desirable : (i) Candidates with Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks may also apply. (ii) Familiarity with use of PCs for making PCB layout.
