ADVERTISEMENT FOR FACULTY POSITION

RECURITMENT NOTICE

The institute application in the prescribed format for recruitment to the following faculity position by direct recruitment on All India basis as per details given below

LECTURER (HUMANITIES & SCIENCE)

Good Academic record with at atleast 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from the Indian University or equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualification candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturer conducted by the UGC CSIR Or similar test accredited by the UGC.

AGE LIMIT:(as on last for receipt of application ) Upto 35 years . The upper age limit will be relaxed upto 5 years 10 years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC )

Relaxation for Govt Servant upto 5years in accordance with the instruction /order issued by Govt of India from time to time. The crucial last date for determining the age shall be the Assam .Maghalaya Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram Manipur of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island or Lakshadeep would be relaxed by 15 days.

FEES: Candidates are exempted from application fees.

GENERAL CONDITION

1. The Institutes is Autonomous body under Govt. of NCT of Delhi as per order of the Govt. there is NO PENSION SCHEME for the employees joining after 1^st January 2001.
2. The qualification (s) regarding experience is /are relaxable at the discretion of the Board of Governors on the basis of recommendations of Selection Committee in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste Or Schedule Tribes if at any stage of selection the Board of Governors is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
3. If a class / division is not awarded at B.E/B.Tech,M.E/M.Tech/Equivalent degree a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First Class/ Division .If a grade point system is adopted the CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks and minimumCGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale of 10.
4. In the discipline of  Engineering / Technology , in lieu of the first class at Bechelor’s and /or Master’s level , in the appropriate branch, a first  class Master’s Degree in in Engineering & Technology together with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in any area of Engineering & Technology will be acceptable.
5. Separate application should be submitted for each post,falling which the application (s) is liable to be rejected.
6. The SC/ST candidates  must enclose a certificate from the concerned district Migistrate.
7. Only those OBC candidates whose state of orgin is Delhi and notified for Delhi are entitled for Delhi are entitled for the benefit of reservation applicable to OBC in the job underGNCTD of Delhi.
8. The OBC candidates are required to send their non –creamy layer certificate as per Govt Notification otherwise their application will be considered in general category..
9. The candidate belonging to SC/ST andOBC are free to apply as general candidates also.
10. The prescribed qulification are the minimum and the mere possession and fulfilling the essential and desirable qualification of the same does not entitle the candidate to be called for the interview.
11. The candidate already in service must apply through proper channel.
12. The entire candidate should attach with their application self –attested copies of all certificates should be produced only at the time of Interview.
13. The candidate short –listed for the interview shall be informed by post. The Institute will not, however be responsible for any postal delay.
14. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any post and also the no. of post may be decreased or increased depending for any postal dealy.
15. Incomplete application or application or application received after last date shall not be considered.
16. The minimum degree of disability in order for a person to be eligible for any concession /benefit under PH Categaory would be 40% or as per orders issued by govt of India from time to time(subject to submission of necessary attested copy of certificate from the Govt. Hospital /Medical Board in support of his /her claim for being handicapped along with the application.)
