Institute of Hotel Management, Catering  Nutrition, IHM, Applications are invited to filling up the following vacancies for the subject of Food Production, Bakery and Confectionery, F&B Services, House Keeping, Front Office and Accounts:
 
i. Head of Department :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 45 years as on 30.06.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Graduation from a recognized university (ii) Degree/3 year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National council for Hotel Management/State Board of Technical Education/recognized university. The Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in degree/diploma in Hotel Management. For Graduate in Hotel Management item no. 1 is not necessary. At least 5 years experience Sr. Lecturer-cum Sr. Instructor  in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to NCHMCT or At least 17 years experience in teaching and/or hotel industry.

ii. Senior Instructor-cum-Senior Lecturer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years as on 30.06.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree/3 Years diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute of Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to NCHMCT/SBTE/ Recognized university. The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in degree/diploma in Hotel Management. At least 5 years experience as Lecturer-cum-Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to NCHMCT. Or At least 12 years experience in teaching and /or hotel industry including minimum 5 years teaching experience as Lecturer-cum-Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University.

iii. Lecturer-cum-Instructor :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-4, OBC-1),
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4600/- per month. 
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years as on 30.06.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree/ 3 Year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management/ State Board Of Technical Education / Recognized University. The Candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management. At least 5 Years experience as Asst. Instructor-Cum Asst. Lecturer in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology. Or at least 07 year experience in teaching and/or hotel industry.

iv. Assistant Instructor cum Assistant Lecturer :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 30.06.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree/3 year diploma in Hotel Management from an institute affiliated to NCHMCT/SBTE/Recognized university. The Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in degree/diploma n Hotel Management. Minimum of 3 years practical experience in hotel and catering industry. Or At least 2 years of teaching experience in an institute affiliated to NCHMCT/SBTE/Recognized university.
