About Company :
C-DAC is a premier R&D society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Applications are invited for the following posts on contract basis against project vacancies for duration of 3-5 years (based on project need) to support its R & D related work in the area of Language Technology, Machine Translation etc:

1) Senior Linguist in the pay scale of Rs. 12000-375-16500 (Gross monthly salary Rs. 31880/- ) :
Qualifications & Experience: 1st class Postgraduate degree in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics with 7 years of experience of teaching/ research in computational linguistics or Natural Language Processing in Indian Languages or a doctorate degree in Linguistics from a recognized university with 4 years of relevant experience. Age: 37 years

2) Linguist in the pay scale of Rs. 10000-325-15200 (Gross monthly salary Rs. 26750/-)
Qualifications & Experience : 1st class Postgraduate degree in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics with 3 years of experience of teaching/ research in computational linguistics or Natural Language Processing in Indian Languages or a doctorate degree in Linguistics / Applied Linguistics from a recognized university. Age: 33 years

3) Junior Linguist in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500 (Gross monthly salary Rs. 21620/-_)
Qualifications & Experience : 1st class Postgraduate degree in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics with 1 year of experience of research/ training in computational linguistics or Natural Language Processing in Indian Languages.  Age: 30 years
