Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, MRPL, The company is recognized today as the leading refinery in India in terms of all round performance, having won many awards in Encon, Safety, Quality, Exports etc. The company is executing an Expansion & Upgradation Project, at an estimated cost of about $ 2.0 Billion and an Aromatics Project, on behalf of ONGC – Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd., at an estimated cost of $ 1.2 Billion. Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC, invites applications from the citizens of India for recruitment for the following posts:

A. Dy. General Manager (HR) : 01 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 19500 to 25600 (Under revision), Age Limit: Should not more than 46 years as on 31.05.2009. Minimum qualification and experience: MBA with specialization in Personnel Management / HRD / HRM or Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management. Atleast 6 years experience in HR- Policy Making & IR is a must.
B. Dy. General Manager/Chief Manager (Shipping): 01 post Pay Scale: Rs, 19500 to 25600/-, Age Limit: Should not more than 46 years as on 31.05.2009. Minimum qualification and experience: Degree in Engineering or MBA with minimum experience of 16 years for DGM.
Chief Manager (Shipping) : 01 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 19000 to 24750/-, Age Limit: Should not more than 44 years as on 31.05.2009. Minimum qualification and experience: Degree in Engineering or MBA with minimum experience of 13 years for Chief Manager, in Oil Tanker Shipping in Executive position experience of minimum 5 years which may include working as Master on Board Tanker in a reputed shipping company.
C. Dy. Manager (Law): 01 post Pay Scale: Rs. 17500 to 22300/- (Under revision) Age Limit: Should not more than 38 years as on 31.05.2009. Minimum qualification and experience: MBA (HR)/MSW (2 years regular course), (in addition a Degree in Law will receive extra weightage). Minimum 6 years Industry experience preferably in the Oil Sector/Chemical Industry of handling Arbitration, Civil Laws, C.P.C., and Labor Laws.
D. Jr. Officer (Hindi) (Non-Management Cadre) : 01 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 7680-435-17250, (Under revision), Age Limit: Should not more than 36 years as on 31.05.2009. Minimum qualification and experience: MA (Hindi) with English as a main / elective subject in Graduation. Post Graduate Diploma in Translation is desirable. Computer literacy is a must. Exp. Minimum 5 years as a Hindi Assistant/ Hindi Translator/Hindi Stenographer in the Official Languages.
E. Jr. Hindi Translator:  01 post Pay Scale: Rs. 7680-435-17250, (Under revision), Age Limit: Should not more than 36 years as on 31.05.2009. Minimum qualification and experience: MA (Hindi) with English as a main / elective subject in Graduation. Post Graduate Diploma in Translation is desirable. Computer literacy is a must. Exp. Minimum 5 years as a Hindi Assistant/ Hindi Translator/Hindi Stenographer in the Official Languages.
