Mazagon Dock Limited, MDL, is India’s leading Shipbuilding Company with ISO 9001: 2000 accreditation. It is a profit-making Central Government Schedule ‘A’ PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, engaged primarily in the construction of Warships and Submarines for the Indian Navy. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals belonging to following categories for the following posts in a special drive :

I. Deputy General Manager (E-6) :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 grade pay Rs. 8700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 48 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Engineering degree with minimum 2nd class or 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the discipline of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Marine Engineering Or Full time degree in Naval Architecture Or Degree in Engineering with post graduate Diploma in Naval Construction from a recognized university / deemed university.

II. Chief Manager (E-5) :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 grade pay Rs. 8700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 44 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Engineering degree in the discipline of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering from a recognized university / deemed university, with minimum 2nd class or 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

III. Deputy Manager (Tech.) (E-3) :
No of post : 05 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay RS. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 36 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Degree in Engineering / B.Sc. (Tech. – Paints) / B.Sc. (Chemistry) with Diploma in Paints Technology / M.Sc. (Paints) awarded by a recognized University/ deemed University, with minimum 2nd class or 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

IV. Manager (Tech.) (E-4) :
No of post : 05 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay RS. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with LLB from a recognized university or Degree in Law (5 Years course), Minimum eight-year’s post qualification experience in the relevant field. He must have worked for at least for 5 years as an executive in Legal Department.

V. Assistant Manager (Tech.) (E-2) :
No of post : 03 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay RS. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 32 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Engineering / B.Sc. (Tech. – Paints) / B.Sc. (Chemistry) with Diploma in Paints Technology / M.Sc. (Paints) awarded by a recognized University/ deemed University, with minimum 2nd class or 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

VI. Sr. Engineer (Tech.) (E-1) :
No of post : 08 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay RS. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Chief Petty Officer / Master Chief Petty Officer/ EA 3 and above in the relevant trade under Indian Navy /Ex-Navy. Minimum 12 years experience in the relevant trade in the Indian Navy and should have held the rank of Chief Petty Officer / Master Chief Petty Officer.

VII. Probationary Officer :
No of post : 12 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay RS. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years as on 15.04.2011 (Excluding Relaxation).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time engineering degree in the discipline of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university / deemed university, with minimum 2nd class or 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
