A. Medical Superintendent :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience :  Minimum Qualification as prescribed by the Medical Council of India Regulations, 1998.
Pay Scale: – Rs 18400-500-22400, on regular basis (Likely to be revised) Rs. 1, 05, 000/- p.m., on contractual basis with annual increase Rs. 5, 000/-,
Age Limit : Below 50yrs as on 01-07-2009 for Regular Appointment. Below 63yrs as on 01-07-2009 for Contractual Appointment.
B. Professor :
No of Post : 03 posts (Physiology-1, Biochemistry-1, Radiology-1, Community Medicine-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : For Professor As prescribed in the Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institution Regulations 1998 by Medical Council of India. The M.S./M.D/M.Ch. Degree must be recognized by Medical Council of India and candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400-450-20000.
Age Limit On Contractual Basis: Should below 63 yrs as on 01/07/2009 for Contractual Appointment in the post (s) of Professor.
Age Limit For Regular Appointment: – (i) Professor:- As 01-07-2009 below 50 years,
C. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 02 posts (Anatomy – 01, Biochemistry – 01)
Essential Qualification & Experience : For Associate Professor As prescribed in the Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institution Regulations 1998 by Medical Council of India. The M.S./M.D/M.Ch. Degree must be recognized by Medical Council of India and candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14300-400-18300.
Age Limit On Contractual Basis: Should below 63 yrs as on 01/07/2009 for Contractual Appointment in the post (s) of  Associate Professor.
Age Limit For Regular Appointment: – (i) Professor:- As 01-07-2009 below 45 years,
D. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 39 posts in various subjects,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Assistant Professor As prescribed in the Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institution Regulations 1998 by Medical Council of India. The M.S./M.D/M.Ch. Degree must be recognized by Medical Council of India and candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 11625-15200.
Age Limit : Below 40yrs as on 01-07-2009.
Age Limit For Regular Appointment: – (i) Professor:- As 01-07-2009 below 40 years,
E. Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 11625-325-15200/- (Likely to be revised as per VI th Pay Commission),
Age Limit : Below 35 yrs as on 01-07-2009.
