National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, NIHFW, Baba Gang Nath Marg, Munirka, New Delhi-110067.

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare is an Autonomous funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country through Education & Training, Research & Evaluation, specialized services. Appointed by MOHFW, GOI as a Nodal Agency for Coordination of all the Training Activities in the country under the National Rural Health Mission – Reproductive and Child Health Programme– II. The project is approved “in principle” till 31/03/2010. Under the above project NIHFW has vacancies for certain posts of contractual staff as per details given below: 

A. Senior Consultant-Technical: 01 post, Pay : Rs.50000 – 60000, Age Limit: 60 years, Walk-In-Interview on 25/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: MD/DNB in PSM / CHA / Obst & Gynae / Pediatrics from a recognized medical institute. 10 years of professional experience.
B. Consultant-Medica: 05 posts, Pay : Rs.30000-40000, Age Limit: 55 years, Walk-In-Interview on 25/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: MD/DNB in PSM/ CHA/ Obst & Gynae/ Pediatrics / Medicine from a recognized medical institute. 6 years of professional experience.
C. Consultant – Management: 01 post, Pay : Rs.30000-40000, Age Limit: 55 years, Walk-In-Interview on 25/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: Master Degree in Personnel Management/ Health/ Hospital Management/MBA in HR from a reputed recognized training institute/ one of the Indian Institute of Management. Administrative experience for 3 years in a reputed institute/ organization.  Experience in health sector desirable.
D. Consultant Nursing: 01 post, Pay : Rs.30000-40000, Age Limit: 55 years, Walk-In-Interview on 26/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Nursing / Medical Social Work from a reputed and recognized Nursing College. 6 years of professional experience in the field of nursing.
E. Consultant Finance: 03 posts, Pay : Rs.30000-65000, Age Limit: 55 years, Walk-In-Interview on 26/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: MBA in Finance from AICTE recognized institute. Minimum 8 years experience in a government or any other reputed organization in finance management of major programme/project. Experience in health sector desirable.
F. Consultant-MIS: 01 post, Pay : Rs.30000-40000, Age Limit: 55 years, Walk-In-Interview on 26/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: Masters in Statistics / Demography/ Population Sciences from a recognized Institute in India. Minimum 8 years experience in monitoring and evaluation in large public sector / health related sector. Experience in health sector desirable.
G. Consultant RO: 08 posts, Pay : Rs.25000-35000, Age Limit: 55 years, Walk-In-Interview on 27/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: DPH/DHA/DGO/DCH/DHHM(IIHMR)/BSc Nur)/MBBS/ MSc/MPS,(IIPS) Post graduate degree or higher in public health  nutrition/home sciences etc. 3 – 5 years in the health sector (can be relaxed for deserving candidates).
H. Technical Assistant: 19 posts, Pay : Rs.18000-22000, Age Limit: 40 years, Walk-In-Interview on 29/05/2009. Qualification & Experience: A. Graduate in Statistics, Biostatistics /Population Sciences/DHHM(IHMR), MPS (IIPS) with Knowledge of SPSS/STATA/Statistical Packages. 1-3 years experience preferably in health sector.
B. Graduate, Diploma in Computer application/BCA. 3 years experience preferably in health sector.
Desirable: Knowledge of Tally, Photoshop, Hindi Typing and shorthand speed @80 w.p.m.

Note: There will be initial screening followed by interview. Registration time for Walk-in-Interview is 9.00 am to 10.30 am and interview will start at 11.00 am. Date of Interview 25th May 2009 to 26th May 2009.
