The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd, SCIL, proposes to select candidates for filling up 120 TNOC seats for pre sea training course at Maritime Training Institute, Mumbai for the August 2010 batch from amongst the candidates qualified in the IMU entrance examination and eligible as per the IMU admission rules. The All India Common Entrance Examination is proposed to be held on 30/05/2010. The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. proposes to select around 120 TNOCs for its August 2010 Batch
Trainee Navigating Officer Cadets Unmarried Male & Female :

Essential Qualification : The B.Sc (Nautical Science) course prospects and application form shall be available from the Indian Maritime University website http://www.imu.tn.nic.in. Original IMU application form completely filled in must be sent directly to IMU by the applicants. Please do not send original IMU application form to SCI as the same will not be entertained.
Scale of Pay :
1. Advance fee upon selection after medical examination & certificate verification, Rs. 60,000/- to SCI prior being offered letter of admission.
2. Payment in favour of SCI on first day of joining MTI Rs. 87,500/- by male candidates and Rs. 67,000/- by female candidates.
3. Payment in favour of SCI on first day of joining the second semester at MTI Rs. 87,500/- by male candidates and Rs. 67,000/- by female candidates.
