The India Navy, Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor – Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) – 1/2011 Batch. Course Commencing 31 January 2011.
 
Sailors for Sailor- Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) – 1/2011 Batch :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates Must Passed  10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Maths, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.
Scale of Pay : During Training period they will be paid Rs. 5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs. 5200 to 20200 plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- plus MSP Rs. 2000/- plus allowances as admissible.
Age Limit : Candidates to be born between 31.01.1990 and 30.01.1994; both dates inclusive.

Navy Selection : Selection is based on the order of merit list on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Application in prescribed format and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22×10 cms with Rs. 10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the different Post Box addresses in New Delhi depending on the examination centre. The list of such centres is available in the detailed advertisement. Last Date of Application Submission : 16.07.2010. For far-flung areas the last date is 23.07.2010.

Fees : No Fee only Slamp Charge Rs. 10/- ffixed on one envelope.
